Outdoor arts and crafts sale September 10, 2022   10AM to 3PM
(the same weekend as Bassin' for Bucks, call to artists in August)

In August 2020, after the cancellation of August long weekend activities in Sioux Narrows due to COVID-19, local innovators presented a safe alternative for gathering. Artists in the Park established its place on the weekend of Bassin' for Bucks. This popular arts event was an uplifting and welcome opportunity for artists and art lovers to enjoy art, conversation, exercise and the natural beauty of Sioux Narrows Provincial Park. After watching fishermen head out on the lake to enjoy the passion and challenge of catching the top weight of the day, families headed to the park to interact with local artisans, stroll the trails and discover original creations that represent our Lake of the Woods culture.

Artists in the Park is now an annual one-day September event the weekend after Labour Day hosted by the Sioux Narrows Park with Sioux Narrows Arts Council volunteers.  Join us to connect with Northern Ontario nature, healthy lifestyles and the appreciation for handmade items.  A stroll through the woods enjoying art is a wonderful way to lift everyones’ spirits. Admission is by donation and funds raised go towards Sioux Narrows Arts Council workshops and scholarships. The call to artists for campsites goes out in August 2022.
