The Sioux Narrows community has a long history of stepping up and helping one another. It's going to be a great summer!
We are always looking for seasoned and new volunteers who are available for two or more hours during the festival or to plan or assist with arts workshops and events throughout the year. You can contact Suzanne Bouvier any time with new ideas or suggestions.

As the summer comes to a close, the Sioux Narrows Arts Council would like to reach out to its artists, patrons and volunteers. It has been a year like no other, and we thank you for your continued support during these difficult times. The Sioux Narrows Arts Festival would like to remind everyone that some 2020 artists have links on our website. Connect with artists, view their website or Facebook posts and buy art online in August at www.siouxnarrowsartsfestival.com. Moving Forward The Sioux Narrows Arts Council will continue to move into 2021 with programming and events that meet the COVID-19 guidelines. Volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization and everyone is encouraged to continue to contribute. Whether it is two hours or two days, from Sioux Narrows or from far away, online or in person, community support is what makes this festival the longest running one of its kind in Northwestern Ontario. Today we are calling for new volunteers and committee members interested in helping to create exciting community events and arts education opportunities. We are presently looking for help with the following tasks. 1. Artists in the Park, a fundraising event for the Sioux Narrows Arts Festival, Saturday September 12th. 2. 2021 Planning Committee, 60th Anniversary Celebrations 3. Arts Workshops for all ages 4. Bookkeeping assistance To register for monthly newsletters, learn more about contributing to a committee or to make suggestions, please contact SNACNewsletter@gmail.com. The Sioux Narrows Arts Council, by volunteer co-operative effort, commits to supporting and promoting area art and artists via an art festival and art education within our community.
The 2019 Sioux Narrows Arts Council would like to acknowledge the contributions and support provided by our marvellous residents and volunteers. It is your passion for building community and your investment in promoting the arts that makes our little town shine.
Welcome! Many of our volunteers have returned to the festival year after year. If you are new or returning to the festival, this is a great opportunity to dedicate your time and support community arts. The Sioux Narrows Arts Festival has volunteer activities for just about everyone. Check out the list of opportunities below and come spend some time with us.
